Charlotte’s Story
Charlotte grew up on the Wirral (UK), spending much of her teenage years immersed in Liverpool's vibrant live music scene. She pursued a degree in Law & German at the University of Bristol and went on to work at a prestigious multinational law firm in London. A transformative trip to Nepal, where she witnessed firsthand the devastation caused by the 2015 earthquake, inspired her to transition to a career in sustainability. This shift also brought her to the Netherlands, her mother's homeland, to dedicate herself to making the world a better place for everyone.
Abhishek’s Story
Born in New Delhi, Abhishek moved to Amsterdam in 2010 due to his passion for music. Here he immersed himself in the world of Jazz and honed his skills as a bass player and composer. However, with his innate ability to bridge the gap between creativity and technology, Abhishek's career path transitioned to the dynamic field of technology enablement. As the melodies of the past remain a constant source of inspiration and motivation, Abhishek’s story is a testament to the power of following one’s passion and adapting to new challenges.
Our Relationship
Our journey together began in January 2023, after we had both postponed our first date a couple of times since connecting in October 2022. The dating app finally gave up on us, and a technical glitch cancelled our planned date for December, prompting us to take matters into our own hands. Finally, on a rainy afternoon in January 2023, we met for the first time at a cozy café in Amsterdam. We instantly connected, bonding over our shared love for music and continued dating in those rainy months. We ate together, watched live music and stand-up comedy, and took a big leap forward to meet each other’s pets, friends, and families. In February 2024, we decided to go to Nepal to find a beautiful spot in front of the Annapurna mountains to exchange engagement rings with each other. And now, we're preparing for our wedding party on 24th May 2025, which we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
